Wow...it took days to finish this, and you all know I'm a fast reader. But something about the pacing that I just didn't like. Dana runs away from her alcoholic mother to her dad she's never met, who is a fairy living in Avalon, a town in England. Avalon is on the border between the human world and the fairy world, and in this book's world, everyone knows it, I guess. She isn't sure that Avalon is better than living with her mother though. Fey and humans are trying to kill her because she is a Faeriewalker, someone who can walk in both worlds. This means she is the perfect assassin and everyone wants her on her side.
The sequel Shadowspell comes out January 2011.
