This isn't horror, even if the main character keeps telling the reader that it is. :) But what a great coming of age tale! Perfect for the Alex Award. Jamie Conklin is a kid who sees dead people, but when his mom's girlfriend starts to mistreat his gift, some evil and strange things start to happen. Love Jamie's growth in this book and the easy way in which it is told by King.
